This art piece consists of one bamboo stick, nearly centered, with many branches and leaves. It was made using the Chinese art form using bamboo brushes and rice paper. To me it means that something can be beautiful all by itself. It doesn’t need other bamboo sticks to be complete. And by extension, we can be beautiful by ourselves. I really like the connections between each section of the bamboo. If I were to change anything in this art piece, I would add some younger looking leaves. Although I think the current leaves are beautiful and well done, I think that adding some younger leaves would add an extra spark.
